Social Mission Intern 2022-2023
Please submit your application by Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Mission
Bellarmine Chapel is a Catholic faith community that strives to live out the teaching and example of Jesus Christ in the spiritual tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola. We seek to be a parish where lives are transformed by the new and creative ways of the Holy Spirit. Nourished at the table of the Eucharist, we are sent on mission to make disciples, serve those in need, work for justice, and welcome all with love.
Positions Summary
The Student Interns at Bellarmine Chapel will play a critical role in helping our parish community live into this mission by assisting in the growth and development of our social mission, youth, children, and marketing initiatives.
As an intern, you will receive guidance and mentorship from your direct supervisor, and have opportunities to be formed with your fellow cohort members. You will be expected to execute different tasks, using what you have learned, but also using your unique gifts and talents to shape your ministry.
Interns will be expected to come together monthly/quarterly to share their experiences with each other.
Details
Positions are available only to students enrolled at Xavier University. Interns work on average 10-12 hours per week during the academic calendar, and 5-6 hours remotely during semester breaks, depending on availability. This includes occasional evenings and weekends. Though no tuition remission is offered for the position, interns are paid an hourly wage of $12/hour.
