The ongoing life of the parish is served by two committees who function both separately and together as the Pastoral Council of Bellarmine.  Both committees meet about ten times a year.  Membership in these committees is determined by a self-nominating process announced in early summer, or as needed.  For information, please contact Richard Bollman, S.J. at 745-3398.

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee looks to the overall spirit and functioning of the parish, assessing current needs, pastoral priorities, long-range planning, and other strategic issues that affect the parish as a whole.  Six to eight people serve on this Committe for three-year terms, along with the pastor.  It is not a governing board, and does not make decisions beyond its general agenda or beyond advising the pastor.  Reports from other committees or staff, though they may be an occasional part of a meeting, are not a regular procedure.                                                                                       top

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee supervises the annual budget and organizes the pledge drive annually to assure adequate funding and support for parish needs and goals.  It also serves the financial procedures of the parish office, makes long-range projects, and offers evaluation and recommendations on the basis of this information.  Six people serve on this committee for three-year terms, along with the pastor.
