PARISH WINTER RETREAT
Bellarmine Parish Winter Retreat is this week! Friday night we'll gather in Bellarmine Chapel for a prayer service beginning at 7 PM (no advanced registration required). Saturday we'll convene around 9 AM for coffee and bagels at the Pavilion at Milford Spiritual Center, with our program running from 9:30 until 4. We'll have reflection time, small and large group conversation, song, scripture, and fresh input around the theme of "Seasons of Our Lives, Our Community, Our Universe" from spiritual directors Susan Classen and JoAnn Gates of Loretto, Kentucky. We hope you can come to both sessions and feel free to invite friends, but come to either as your schedule allows. If you plan to attend Milford on Saturday, please get your check for $35 to Liz in the office by Wednesday, February 13 so we know how many lunches to order.
CATHOLIC BUT MISSED CONFIRMATION?

The preparation process begins in February and culminates in the celebration of Confirmation in April. Meetings are weekly, and the day and time will be determined by the participants’ availability.

The participants of one of Xavier University's Alternative Breaks trips are holding a children's book drive. Alternative Breaks is a campus club that provides an opportunity to hundreds of Xavier students to go on service trips during their Easter break. One of this year's trips will be to Buffalo, where the participants will be working with an organization that helps to resettle refugees, including children who need help learning English. Any (gently) used children's books that you can provide would be of great help to the organization. The book drive will take place between January 27 and March 13, and during that time books will be collected in a special donation box in Bellarmine Chapel. Questions? Contact Emily Chambers at chambers@xavier.edu. Your support is greatly appreciated.
